1. Getting ready
Ask four Ss to read questions A—D aloud.
2. Using the book
Have Ss look at the pictures for A. T: ( Point to the first picture.) ( S1‘s name), please answer. [S1: He was singing.] Contnue with the other three pictures. T: Let‘s listen to the tape. Play the tape for A, then pause. T: Put a checkmark in the box.( S2‘s name), what was he doing? [S2: He was digging.] Repeat the procedures with the other three questions
3. Put Ss in pairs. Have Ss take turns asking and answering questions about the pictures. Encourage them to act out the pictures, e.g. clapping loudly, walking quickly, etc. Walk around the classroom to provide help if needed.
Step Five: Listen and sing
1. T: Let‘s read out the lyrics. Ask individual Ss to read out the sentences.
T: Now let‘s listen to the tape. Play the tape and point to each word as it is sung. Divide the class into two groups and assign each group a verse. Play the tape and have each group sing their verse.
Play the tape and have Ss fill in the blanks. Pause the tape from time to time if necessary. T: Let‘s check the answers together. Have Ss read out the sentences aloud. Divide Ss into two groups. Have one group sing the first verse and the other group sing the second verse. Then switch.

Have Ss look at the pictures on the page. T: Where‘s Gogo? [ Ss: He‘s in the library.]What‘s Gogo doing in the number 1? [Ss: He‘s working.]Is he working loudly? [Ss: No, he‘s working quietly.] Ask questions about the other picture. Make sure to point out the answers.
