4. What present did you receive? (To elicit: parcel, rack, disc )
5. What did you do at the party? (To elicit: blow bubbles, stop, around )
6. Play the cassette: Wonderland.
Students listen and follow the tape.
7. Play the cassette again . Students listen and repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation.
8. Let the students ask questions about the new words.
9. Read the new words and sentences in groups of four.
III. Post-task activities
1. Ask the students to remember the new words in two minutes.
2. Listen and fill in the blanks.

First students fill in the blanks individually. Then check the answer together.
3. Divide the students into groups of four. Ask them to make sentences with the new words.
4. Invite individuals to say the sentences they have made.
5. Invite students to write their sentences on the board. Check the sentences together.
6. Read the sentences on the board together.
7. Decide which group is the winner.
Lesson Plan (2) : Grand Theatre
I. Pre-task preparation:
1. Listen to the rhyme“The Swallow’s Song”.
2. Quick responses:
(1) What’s the date today?
(2) When is your birthday?
(3) Will you have a birthday party on that day?
(4) What will you do at your birthday party?
(5) What present do you want for your birthday?
(6) What do you think of your birthday?
II. While-task procedure:
1. Ask the students to describe how they had a birthday last time. Encourage the
students to describe their birthdays. Offer some help if they need.
(e.g. Did you have a party on your birthday? Who did you invite on that day? What present did you get on that day? How did you feel when you got presents? What did you do on your birthday?……)
