　　5. Game: Finding Home

　　T: （Show the picture）

　　Look！

　　This is spring.

　　T: Spring. Read after me, please. （Click the picture on the blackboard.）

　　S: Spring.

　　T: （Use the same method to click the following pictures on the blackboard.）

　　T：The months can’t find their homes. Can you help them? Let’s have a race. I’ll choose one student from each team. For example, When I say “January”， you should choose it out quickly and click it under the picture of spring. Are you clear? Let’s begin.

　　T: （Summary）

　　March April May ---------Spring

　　June July August --------Summer

　　September October November --------Autumn

　　December January February --------Winter

　　設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過分類游戲，讓學(xué)生按季節(jié)將月份單詞分組，將所學(xué)內(nèi)容與實(shí)際生活相聯(lián)系，鞏固操練月份單詞。采用比賽的形式可以刺激學(xué)生的參與欲望，讓學(xué)生主動參與進(jìn)來。

　　6. Fill in the blanks.

　　T: （出示課件）Can you fill in the blanks with the months?

　　Which months begin with “A”？

　　Which months begin with “M”？

　　Which months begin with “J”？

　　Which months end in “ary”？

　　Which months end in “ber”？

　　設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過填空使學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)總結(jié)月份單詞的拼寫規(guī)律，幫助學(xué)生記憶掌握單詞。

　　7.Game: Pick Apples

　　T: The months’ family is picking apples now. Would you like to help them?

　　S: （Match the months.）

　　T: What can you find from the apple tree?

　　S: ……

　　T: （出示課件）This is the abbreviation（縮寫） of the month. The names of the months are too long. So we can write the abbreviation of them. Pay attention, the first letter of the month should be big letter.

　　設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過摘蘋果的游戲幫助學(xué)生掌握12個月份的縮寫形式。讓學(xué)生自己操作電腦，調(diào)動了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。

　　8. Sing a song: The Months

　　T: Listen. There is a song about month. Let’s sing it together. （Play the flash.）

　　S:（Sing the song : The Months）

　　設(shè)計(jì)意圖：以一首月份歌曲來活躍課堂氣氛，也是對本課新授內(nèi)容的一個小結(jié)，同時培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)英語的興趣。

　　1. Knowledge Point:月份名稱的來歷及其象征花

　　T: Do you know the history of about the months?

　　Look！ Here is some information about them. Let’s read！

　　T: We can search it from the Internet or books. You can do it after class.

　　2. Homework

　　Collect the information of the months, and make a paper of them.

　　設(shè)計(jì)意圖：本環(huán)節(jié)是教學(xué)的拓展，讓學(xué)生去了解課本以外的東西，了解西方文化，開闊學(xué)生的視野。布置作業(yè)讓學(xué)生利用現(xiàn)代化的資源自己去查詢答案，讓學(xué)生自己動手去查，比老師講授印象更加深刻，把查詢結(jié)果辦成畫報(bào)展示給大家，學(xué)生可以從中體驗(yàn)到學(xué)習(xí)的成就感。
