  T: Do you know “Which food is special at Thanksgiving?”(課件展示感恩節(jié)大餐——火雞圖片)

  Turkey. At thanksgiving every family have a turkey. So turkey is special at Thanksgiving(課件出現(xiàn)該句)

  T: Which food is special at Moon Festival/Spring Festival/Lantern Festival/Dragon Boat festival/Christmas?

  S3: They say thank you for all the good things they have.

  T: What do people do? Families are together. So they have a lot of fun.

  d. Ask and answer in pairs with the drills.

  S: Lantern Festival is usually in February. Sometimes it’s in March. Families are together. We carry lanterns. We watch dragon dances. We eat yuanxiao. We say” Happy Lantern Festival” to people. We have a lot of fun…。

  T: Now let’s have the special festival meal. Talk in groups with the information inside the envelope, and write it down like this. At Festival, families are together. We usually have a big dinner. We eat the special festival meal soon. We say “Happy Festival” to people. We have a lot of fun……

  五、Summary and Homework (小姐作業(yè))

  T: Today we learned about a very important festival in America. That is Thanksgiving. Who can describe it?

  S: Thanksgiving is in November. Families are together. We have a big, special dinner. We say thank you for all the good things we have. We have a lot of fun…Thanksgiving is very important in America.

  T: And for today’s homework, write about your favourite festival after class.

  縱觀本節(jié)課體現(xiàn)了一下幾個(gè)方面

  1. 聯(lián)系生活實(shí)際,促進(jìn)學(xué)生主動(dòng)學(xué)習(xí)

  說一說節(jié)日的特殊食物、看圖片猜節(jié)日等活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì),都是以學(xué)生的生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)和認(rèn)知為出發(fā)點(diǎn),取材于學(xué)生的實(shí)際生活,是學(xué)生在生活中發(fā)現(xiàn)并使用英語。

  2. 注重過程評(píng)價(jià),關(guān)住學(xué)生發(fā)展

  除了對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行口頭鼓勵(lì)以及帶有肯定的手勢(shì)外,巧妙的結(jié)合節(jié)日話題,運(yùn)用跟節(jié)日相關(guān)的小禮物(圣誕節(jié)的圣誕老人,萬圣節(jié)的面具,復(fù)活節(jié)的玩具兔子和玩具小雞)對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行評(píng)價(jià)獎(jiǎng)勵(lì),體現(xiàn)了教師在評(píng)價(jià)上得用心,學(xué)生也在進(jìn)一步感知節(jié)日的同時(shí)體驗(yàn)到了學(xué)習(xí)英語的樂趣。

  3. 活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)有側(cè)磁性,提高學(xué)生能力

  本課通過“進(jìn)行節(jié)日大餐”的任務(wù)設(shè)計(jì),僅僅圍繞本課中難點(diǎn)進(jìn)行有效活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)。通過感恩節(jié)的閱讀判斷改錯(cuò)練習(xí),感恩節(jié)由來的擴(kuò)展閱讀,借助圖片內(nèi)容描述節(jié)日,小組借助信息描述并書寫節(jié)日這幾個(gè)不同層次的活動(dòng),讓每個(gè)學(xué)生都參與到學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)中,使他們的聽、說、讀、寫能力得到全面提升。

  4. 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣和自信

  在本課的課文中出現(xiàn)了感恩節(jié)的英文小詩(shī),讓學(xué)生模仿它并完成老師最喜歡的節(jié)目——中秋節(jié)的小詩(shī)創(chuàng)作,激發(fā)了學(xué)生的興趣,讓學(xué)生體驗(yàn)到自己也能夠作詩(shī)的喜悅,從而提高了學(xué)習(xí)信心。
