　　隨后教師可讓學生完成Language Lab中的第一部分Choose, write and spell 的練習來幫助學生鞏固單詞的拼寫。

　　6） 在學生基本掌握了單詞的聽說讀寫后，教師可讓學生繪制自己學校的平面圖，并整合已有的語言知識以“Our School”為題寫語段。

　　二）句型教學方法

　　1） 教師可從Wonderland的教學的最后一個活動，學生介紹自己學校的活動中自然引出Farmland中的新句型: Is there/ Are there…? 例如：

　　Is there a garden in your school?

　　Are there any labs in your school?

　　2） 建議教師可先教授單數(shù)句型，教師可手持Farmland中的詞匯圖片提問：Is there a pool in your school? 當學生用Yes./No.作簡單回答時，教師可引導學生用Yes, there is./ No, there isn’t.作答。然后教師可讓學生兩兩模仿問答。例如：

　　-Is there a cinema in your school?

　　-No, there isn’t.

　　-Is there a library in your school?

　　-Yes, there is.

　　3） 教師可接著學生的談話引出復數(shù)句型，例如, Are there any libraries in your school?當學生用Yes./ No.作簡單回答時，教師可引導學生用Yes, there are./ No, there aren’t. 作答。同時教師可用補充學生的回答方式幫助學生了解一般疑問句和否定句中用any，肯定句用some的語法知識。例如：There are some libraries in your school. There aren’t any libraries in your school.然后讓學生兩兩模仿問答。

　　隨后教師可談話引出Farmland中的小對話。

　　Super kid is visiting Tommy’s school. What are they talking about?

　　然后讓學生聽、仿說Farmland中的小對話，并用Farmland中給出的8個詞匯模仿創(chuàng)編出新的小對話進行角色表演。在替換練習，表演小對話的過程中掌握There be句型的一般疑問句Is there/ Are there…?及其肯否定回答Yes,

　　there is./ there are. No, there isn’t./ there aren’t.

　　5） 由于學生們同在一所學校，所以用Is there/ Are there…?展開以學校為主題的交際活動缺少信息差，沒有什么意義。因此在學生基本掌握句型后，教師可創(chuàng)設其他一些情景幫助學生運用語言，交流信息。例如：

　　三）課文教學方法

　　本單元Disneyland中的Riddle是一則根據(jù)拼寫猜單詞的謎語，和課文猜單詞游戲的內容相似，教師可在Warming-up中讓學生聽Disneyland中的Riddle猜單詞，然后模仿教材自編謎語考考大家。例如：

　　The first letter is in feet, not in meet.

　　The second letter is in bike, not in bake.

　　The third letter is in past, not in part.

　　The last letter is in each, not in eagle.

　　What word is it?

　　It is FISH.

　　然后自然引出Language Lab中的話題討論。教師可先通過On your own中的問題讓學生圍繞游戲展開話題討論。

　　Do you like games?

　　What games do you often play in class?

　　在話題討論中，當有學生提到Disneyland中的Riddle時，教師可適時地引出課題中的新授詞匯, It’s a kind of spelling game.

　　接著教師可從話題討論中自然引出課文。Today, let’s play another spelling game.

　　It’s named Hangman.

　　聽完課文錄音后，教師可通過讓學生回答Language Lab的Questions and answers中的問題來了解學生對課文內容的理解程度。

　　Is Miss Lynn in the classroom?

　　Are they playing ping pong or playing a spelling game?

　　What’s the name of this spelling game?

　　在學生理解課文大意后，可讓學生跟錄音模仿讀課文。

　　教師可通過角色表演讓學生在準交際情境中運用語言，并指導學生要表演出對話蘊含的機智幽默。

　　接著，教師可讓學生自己想一個單詞，考考全班，并引導出題的學生用多種方式表揚猜對的同學，讓學生了解除了Well done!還可以用Good job! Great! Wonderful! 等等多種方式來表達贊美。

　　最后，教師可組織學生在小組內做這個游戲，提高學生的語用能力。
