　　Beijing, the Night Zoo in Panyu, Yuexiu Park, Hong Kong, Zhaoqing, the Shopping Centre in Beijing Road

　　(2) Teach and remember: Night Zoo, Shopping Centre, road

　　(3) In pairs talk about how we can get to these places.

　　For example: How can we get to the Yuexiu Park?

　　You can get there by underground, by bus or on foot.

　　(4) In groups make a survey and fill in the table.

　　(5) Make a report in class.

　　(6) Game: Fun with Language

　　Present some places. (電腦呈現(xiàn))

　　In pairs mime a travel agent and customer and make dialogues.

　　For example: What place are you going to visit?

　　I’m going to visit Beijing, How can I get there?

　　By train or by plane.

　　When can I start by plant?

　　Next Wednesday.

　　What time?

　　Twenty past seven in the morning.

　　3. Story time

　　(1) Look at the pictures and explain them.

　　(2) Look and listen to the story, then retell the story.

　　(3) Ask one or two pupils to retell the story.

　　4. Development

　　(1) Did you know

　　Focus pupils on the photos and ask them if they have seen transport like this, and if so, where. Begin a discussion comparing Chinese transport with the transport in the photos.

　　(2) Additional words

　　To introduce further adjectives to describe transport.

　　To challenge the stronger pupils to learn the words by themselves.

　　III. Homework

　　1. Additional word: match the words with the pictures.

　　2. Story time Part II.

　　3. Project: Design tickets of different transport and talk about them.
