應(yīng)掌握的句子:
1.A: What’s the matter? 你怎么了?
B: I have a bad cold. 我得了重感冒。
翻譯:他怎么了?他胃痛。
魏芳怎么了?她背痛。
2.A: Maybe you should see a dentist. 或許你應(yīng)該看牙醫(yī)。
B: .That’s a good idea. 好主意。
That sounds like a good idea. 聽起來是個好主意。
I think so 我認(rèn)為如此。
You are right. 你說得對。
I guess you’re right. 我認(rèn)為你說得對。
翻譯:我應(yīng)該上床睡覺。
李平應(yīng)該躺下休息。
我們不應(yīng)該上課吃東西。
3. When you are tired, you shouldn’t go out at night. 疲倦時,晚上你不該外出。
翻譯:他小的時候就知道應(yīng)該努力學(xué)習(xí)。
他5 歲就上學(xué)了。
我們進(jìn)教室時,老師已經(jīng)開始講課了。
3-1 Should 用法:should + 動詞原形,“應(yīng)該”
shouldn’t + 動詞原形,“不應(yīng)該”
1)表示義務(wù)或責(zé)任;“應(yīng)該”
We should learn from each other. 我們應(yīng)該互相學(xué)習(xí)。
We should help the aged. 我們應(yīng)該幫助老人。
2) 表示建議或勸告;“應(yīng)該”
You should /You’d better give up smoking. 你應(yīng)該(/ 最好)戒煙。
You shouldn’t / You’d better not go and ask your teacher.
你不應(yīng)該去(你最好別去)問老師。
What should I do? 我該怎么辦?
What shouldn’t I do? 我不該做什么?
Whatshould you do? 你該怎么辦?
What shouldn’t you do? 你不該做什么?
【注】有時語氣較強(qiáng),含有命令的意味:
You should leave at once. 你應(yīng)該馬上離開 。
3-2 had better 用法:表示對別人的勸告、建議;
。ǔ:喡詾'd better,是一固定詞組)
had better + 動詞原形,"最好"
had better not + 動詞原形,"最好不"
Maybe you’d better drink some water. 或許你最好喝些水。
You’d better not eat more cookies. 你最好別在吃餅干了。
3-3 幾個表示建議詞詞組的比較
“勸告、建議”語氣由委婉到強(qiáng)烈
。∕aybe)You had better take exercise. You had better not eat junk food .
(Maybe)You should take exercise. You should not eat junk food .
You must take exercise. You must not eat junk food .
