　　T：Look at the green part, What is it?看看那藍(lán)色的部分，那是什么？

　　It’s the land. 那是陸地. (出示圖片，land 陸地)

　　T: What about the blue part? 那藍(lán)色的部分呢？

　　It’s the water.

　　We can see a lot of water on the earth，such as lakes, rivers, seas. 我們?cè)诘厍蛏峡梢钥吹胶芏嗨�，它們有的是湖泊，有的是河流，還有的是大海。

　　All of us know that the 70 percent of the world is water. 我們大家都知道地球上70%的部分都是水。

　　所以我們也可以把我們的地球稱作一個(gè)大水球。(a ball filled with water)

　　教師用幻燈片來展示地球的全景，簡直是一個(gè)藍(lán)色的大水球。

　　T： But it is a pity that most of the water on the earth is sea water.

　　It's salty. We can’t take full use of it. 但是讓人遺憾的是地球上大部分水都是海水。它們都是咸的，我們不能充分利用。

　　Except this , the sea water is still very cold. The deeper, the colder. 除了咸，海水還有一個(gè)特點(diǎn)就是冷。 越深越冷。

　　教師出示海水的各個(gè)角度圖片，總結(jié)其特點(diǎn)。

　　Cold and salty. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生來學(xué)習(xí)這兩個(gè)單詞。

　　T：In the deep part of the sea, many kinds of living things live in the water. 在大海深處，生活著很多生物。

　　Such as, fishes, whales, dolphins and water grass. 例如魚， 鯨魚，海豚和海草之類的。

　　A：So the sea is a mysterious world. It has many secrets. We can seek for more. 大海是一個(gè)神秘的世界。 它隱藏了很多秘密。我們可以進(jìn)一步探索。

　　教師用幻燈片展示海底的美麗風(fēng)光，并且引導(dǎo)學(xué)生來學(xué)習(xí)海底一些生物的名稱。

　　Fishes 魚類

　　Whales 鯨

　　Dolphins 海豚

　　Water grass 水草

　　3.小結(jié)：

　　本節(jié)課我們了解了地球上最珍貴的資源----- 水資源的特點(diǎn)： 水資源的廣泛分布；海水的味道；海水的深度和其溫度的關(guān)系；海水中生長的各類生物， 不但讓學(xué)生增長了見識(shí)，還教育了他們要學(xué)會(huì)珍惜水資源。

　　4.鞏固練習(xí)

　　教師給學(xué)生3分鐘時(shí)間再讀課文，然后憑借自己的理解來回答教師寫在黑板上的問句， 最后通過組織問句的答案來復(fù)述短文內(nèi)容.

　　What can you see in the earth ?

　　Is the sea water tasteless?

　　Is the water cold?

　　What things live in the sea water?

　　Is the water cold?

　　學(xué)生兩個(gè)人一組討論問題答案，并且組織答案復(fù)述文章。

　　Look at the map of the world. The blue part in the map is water. We have much water in the world. But most of them is sea water. The sea water is very salty and cold. The deeper ,the colder. There are lots of things living in the sea. We can in fishes, whales, dolphins and water grass.

　　5. Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

　　A: What can you see in the earth ?

　　B: I can see land and water on the earth. But water is the biggest part.

　　A: Is the sea water tasteless?

　　B: No, it’s salty.
