Step1:Warming up :
Greetings
Review:Let’s chant.
Say the chant of P45. How do you go to school?
Step2:1) Pre-reading:
Here are some cards for you.You can choose one of them and read it quickly.Then try to say one or two sentences.
Eg. : house , family , address ,friend , apartment ,how old , how tall , go to school , in the gym.
方法:當學生抽到house 就可以說I am in a house . /This is my house.…
抽到how old 可說 How old are you? /How old is Jenny?
T: Well done, boys and girls.These cards can help you understand the story.
[設計意圖:這些語言信息有效的提示了故事的要點,教師又有針對性的復習操練,為學生理解故事做了充分準備。]
2)Learn the story.
T:Today we are going to learn a new story----Maddy the Monster. First let’s meet three people . They’re Maddy, Anna, Mr. Scott .(Introduce them simply and show them to the students.)Before we listen to it ,I have some questions for you.
Questions:a: Who is Maddy?What’s her address?
b: Who is Anna? What’s her address?
c.How does Maddy go to school?
[設計意圖:讓學生帶著問題去聽,目的性強,為最終完成任務做全面準備。]
3)分段聽故事并解決問題
[設計意圖:創(chuàng)設任務情境,引起學生興趣,使學生處于主動積極的能動狀態(tài),觸發(fā)學生完成任務的迫切需要。]
4)第三次再聽故事并提1個比較有討論價值的問題:
Are the people in this story scared ? Why ?
[設計意圖:拓展學生思維,調動了學生運用語言材料組織語言的積極性,提高了口語表達能力。]
5) Consolidate the story
做活動手冊中與故事密切相關的題
[設計意圖:檢驗學生對故事的理解程度,進一步加深對故事的理解。]
Step 3 : Homework:
畫一個與故事有關的圖,并用英語在下面寫幾句話。
