Read and guess
教學(xué)目標(biāo):
1. 知識(shí)目標(biāo):鞏固there be句型
2. 能力目標(biāo):運(yùn)用形狀描述各類物體
3. 情感目標(biāo):培養(yǎng)學(xué)生仔細(xì)觀察的能力
重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn):
Using kinds of shapes to describe some things
教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備:
radio, tape, some picture cards
教學(xué)過(guò)程:
一、Warming-up
1. Sing a song < Numbers>
2. Tell a story
二、Revision
1. Review the shapes learned in Student’s Book 3A by drawing a circle, a star, a square and a triangle on the board.
2. Introduce: rectangle, as an addition to the shapes students have learned.
三、Presentation
1. Ask and answer:
Have the students look at the picture in Ask and answer. Invite students to list shapes that they can see in it.
Ask and answer: How many stars (squares, triangles, rectangles, circles)?
Guess: How many stars?
2. Read and guess
Show some pictures on the board: ruler, bag, book, biscuit Practise: What is it? It’s a… What shape is this? It’s a…
Make a riddle:
a. It’s a rectangle. It’s blue. What is it?
b. It’s a circle. It’s brown. What is it?
c. It’s a rectangle. It’s long. What is it?
d. It’s big. It’s a square. What is it?
For more able students, encourage them to make their own riddle and let the class guess.
3. Listen to the tape, then repeat
四、Consolidation
1. Draw and say: Draw a Christmas tree using three triangles, one rectangle, one square and one star, they can ask other things they like in the picture.
