　　1、通過觀看錄像，引起學生對道路上行人車輛、紅綠燈變化及交通指示牌的注意。

　　2、幫助學生回憶已經(jīng)學過并與課本內容相關的單詞。讓學生show pictures of traffic lights and colour。

　　三、While—task procedure

　　1、Ask pupils to follow the instructions: Cross！ Don’t cross！ Stop！ Wait！ Go！ Ask pupils to look at the picture and give the directions by themselves.

　　2、Ask one pupil to give instrucitions and make the others act.

　　3、 Ask pupils to guess the colour of the light according to the actions,and use the following patterns: There’s the red man。 There’s the green man 。

　　4、Activity: Ask pupils to make a dialogue in pairs with the different traffic light。

　　四、Post-task activity

　　1、Ask pupils to watch VCD again ,and then describe it by using thr new sentences.

　　2、Group work with the given situation.

　　五、Homework

　　1、 Copy the new words.

　　2、 Write down the short dialogue.

　　板書設計：

　　Can I do this? traffic light Stop！

　　Wait！ Go！ Cross！ Don’t cross！
