Teaching aims:
1. Learn to say the sentences: Will we pick oranges? No, we won’t. But we will pick peaches.
2. Learn the new words: fruit, apple, pear, orange, peach
3. Learn to describe the things that will happen.
Important and difficult points:
Use the sentence and words to describe the things that will happen.
Teaching steps:
I. Warming-up exercises. Talk about fruit. Can you say a sentence or word about fruit? I like _______. I love _______. _______ are my favorite fruit. _____ are red. _____ are yellow.
II. Presentation. Sam and Amy will go to a fruit farm today. Do you want to go with them? Now let’s have a think: What can you see in a fruit farm? You will see lots of fruit trees. E.g.: apple trees, pear trees, peach trees …. Do you want to eat them? Then let’s pick them from the trees. Learn the word “pick”.
Practice: Pick, pick, pick, pick apples; Mia,mia,mia; Pick, pick, pick, pick pears; Mia, mia, mia; Pick, pick, pick, pick oranges; Mia, mia, mia; Pick, pick, pick, pick peaches; Mia, mia, mia. What fruit will Sam and Amy pick? Now let’s listen to the tape and answer the questions. Do Activity Book, Ex.3. True or False. Work in pairs.
1) The Smart family won’t pick fruit this weekend.
2) Sam doesn’t like apples.
3) Amy doesn’t like apples.
4) They will pick pears.
5) Amy will pick oranges.
6) Amy doesn’t like peaches.
7) Sam likes peaches.
Do AB, Ex.
1. Read the text and complete the sentences. This weekend, the Smart family will go to a _______ farm. They’ll pick _____. They’ll pick ______. They’ll pick ______. But they won’t pick _______. They haven’t got ________ at this farm. Read the dialogue after teacher. Attention: Sam is very happy to the fruit farm, so when you read the word “great”, you should use a happy tune. Sam doesn’t like apples. So you should use unhappy tune to say the sentence “But I don’t like apples.” Read them in groups and try to act it. There are four students in each group. The fourth one can be Tom. Think about what Tom should say. Come to the front and act the dialogue.
Homework: Listen to the tape and try to recite the dialogue.

本節(jié)課動(dòng)靜接合,有聲有色,環(huán)節(jié)步步深入,環(huán)環(huán)相扣,根據(jù)課 堂目標(biāo)逐個(gè)落實(shí)到位,其中情感目標(biāo)落實(shí)非常到位,真正達(dá)到了聲情 并茂,只是課文導(dǎo)入階段需要再用一些時(shí)間,更充分的操練,形式再 多樣一些,(如唱有關(guān)水果的英文歌曲).讓學(xué)生做好充分的準(zhǔn)備。在進(jìn) 入課文階段,給學(xué)生一個(gè)提一些問(wèn)題,讓學(xué)生帶著任務(wù)來(lái)聽(tīng)錄音,聽(tīng) 完以后接著逐個(gè)解決這些問(wèn)題,更有助于掌握。
