少兒英語(yǔ)詞匯辨析系列：these和those

　　在少兒英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中，家長(zhǎng)會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)有很多易混詞匯，雖然我們不建議讓孩子去背語(yǔ)法，但這些差別，家長(zhǎng)還是要滲透到孩子的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中去的。

　　These和those是一對(duì)常見(jiàn)的易混淆詞匯，你是否分得清這兩個(gè)“相似物”的適用場(chǎng)合呢?

　　These/those are the plural forms of this/that， and behave in the same way。

　　These/those是this/that的復(fù)數(shù)形式，且使用方法相似。

　　As a determiner this is used to identify a specific person or thing close at hand or being experienced。

　　作為限定詞，this用來(lái)指定在手邊的或正在經(jīng)歷的具體人或物，意為“這個(gè)”

　　These表示this的復(fù)數(shù)形式，意為“這些”：

　　You know these last few months when we‘ve been expecting it to warm up a little bit?

　　你知道最近這幾個(gè)月我們一直盼望著天能暖和一點(diǎn)吧?

　　As a determiner that refers to the more distant of two things near to the speaker， or to a specific thing previously mentioned。

　　作為限定詞，that用來(lái)指兩個(gè)物體中相對(duì)于說(shuō)話者更遠(yuǎn)的那一個(gè)，或某個(gè)之前提及的具體事物。意為“那個(gè)”

　　Those表示that的復(fù)數(shù)形式，意為“那些”：

　　He did buy me those books a week ago。

　　他確實(shí)在一個(gè)星期前給我買(mǎi)了那些書(shū)。

　　小練習(xí)：

　　Sonny has many qualities worth recognizing， and the purpose of this letter is to point out two of [these/those] qualities。

　　Sonny有很多值的肯定的品質(zhì)，這封信的目的就是指出(這些/那些)品質(zhì)中的兩種

　　答案：these
